To operate in Musa’s model, your company must be registered with the appropriate agencies, holding all licenses in force in your state and municipality. In São Paulo, it must be duly registered with AMLURB - Municipal Authority of Urban Cleaning, and CETESB, if it operates with the recycling of organic waste.

In accordance with article 141 of Law 13.478 of 2002, all commercial establishments in São Paulo that generate more than 200 liters of garbage per day will be considered Large Generators, and must hire a company responsible for the execution of the collection, transportation, treatment, and final destination services of the waste generated, keeping the original copy of the contract available. Condominiums of non-residential buildings or of mixed use whose sum of solid waste generated by the units totalizes an average daily volume equal or superior to 1,000 (one thousand) liters are also considered Large Generators and shall contract private collection for the removal of their waste.

Yes, Musa will give you all the necessary support to switch suppliers. But it is worth remembering that Musa’s model uses transporters partners operating in the market, so it is worth consulting our partner list to identify if your current collector already operates in the Musa system. This may speed up the change in the contract.

Yes! We work with a zero waste purpose, so we make the most of your current structure. We will reorganize the containers by space and type of waste generated. We will add identification stickers orienting you about the new disposal organization. We adapt your storage containers, always seeking to guarantee a higher quality of waste by avoiding contamination. If necessary, you can purchase new low-cost and labeled containers through Musa, appropriate for each environment according to the disposal model to be implemented. We also facilitate the sale of your current containers to the industry that reuses the material and transforms it into new products if you choose to exchange your current containers for new ones.
With Musa, each type of material finds the appropriate reuse destination. In the destination plan we will present you the appropriate destination partners for your waste, but in general the most recurrent destinations are: - Organic materials go to composting, where they are transformed into fertilizer and sold in the market. - Recyclables go to sorting stations, where they are carefully separated and then forwarded to recycling facilities and become new raw materials for manufacturing. If it is already separated, it can go directly to the industry. - Others go to co-processing plants or CDR, where they are transformed into energy for civil construction. Note: Special waste will have its proper destination by type.

Yes, the payment for Musa’s service is monthly. We send the invoice along with the collection and destination report to release the payment. For greater control, you can track the volume collected daily through the Musa platform. When paying Musa, the Generator is paying for the entire service, from the collection to the destination of the waste. The service implementation will be charged in the initial phase and the purchase of maintenance items can be made as needed.
Yes! We send the report and make it available through the app, with the data achieved by your company daily, weekly and monthly. Over time, you will be able to measure the increase in your effective management and recycling, the drop in greenhouse gas emissions, and how much you have saved. These documents are designed with key social and economic impact data in case your business needs to present such reports to shareholders, directors, and customers.
